Update 2/6/2018: I am returning the watch
After my last update I did keep it and it was working fine until approx 5 days ago, it has started dying after 4-6 hrs on a .... In this video we showed you top 3 best smartwatches to buy on 2018

Android wear has definitely improved over the years
Fossil's new Q Explorist has proven itself as a strong competitor to Apple's market-dominating apple watch.. Fossil Women's Q Venture Gen 3 with iPhone I will be showing the functionality of this watch with an iPhone! All you need is the andriod wear app.. i think im gonna like it.
Specially this black silicon.

Update 2/6/2018: I am returning the watch. After my last update I did keep it and it was working fine until approx 5 days ago, it has started dying after 4-6 hrs on a full charge with little to no extra use. I have no explanation. There was no damage to the device and no new apps. I have ordered the Misfit Vapor and will see how that goes. I hope everyone who bought this is having better luck then me.

Update 12/26/2017: Due to the holidays I was unable to return it. The Vivoactive 3 came in and after factory resetting the Q control I decided to trial them both together. I noticed after the factory reset the Q control has had a lot less lags and has actually been having better connectivity then the Vivoactive3, also the UI has been harder to navigate on the garmin, whereas the android wear has been easier to use. I am finding my texts are coming in quicker on the Q control and now instead of 3 rings the calls are arriving within 5 seconds or less of when my phone starts. I may actually keep the Q control at this point. Note: I did not upload as many apps, or the bubble thing as collectively that may have been causing the lag.

Update 12/21/2017: I am sorry to say I am returning this device. Much as I love the screen and the remote camera those 2 things are not worth the $300. The connectivity is shoddy, I keep losing it 10 feet away from my phone. It has a severe lag, my phone is usually on the 3rd ring before it shows up on the watch. Swiping lags as well and sometimes apps randomly close. Google assistant also randomly doesn't work, or listens and then closes. My phone has been in my pocket and the watch will tell me that google assistant is unavailable. The battery life stays consistently at about 15hrs, whether I mess with it a lot or not.
I wanted to love it, I spent hours researching. However, that's the risk you run on a watch with no reviews.

I couldn't find any reviews on this watch prior to purchase so I decided to make my own. Never done this before so feel free to ask any questions.

Update 12/14/17: Fit google seems to have updated and the watch does now monitor heart rate continuously with a graph on the watch under the app.
