DECRIPTION:
BAKEEY has entered the 4G LTE smartwatch market with a splash. They splash 4G all over their box and even on the boot up screen of the A4 watch! The unfortunate thing is that 4G LTE data (actually any data, even 3G) on this watch in my USA location on AT&T does not work (UPDATE-SEE BELOW). The watch is supposed to be universal 4G supporting lots of bands, so it may work for you if your situation is different than mine. As an overall smartwatch, it is a nice build and could very well be IP67 waterproof (as they claim) but the bands aren’t removable. The bezel is bright and colorful, the case is different with two fins beside the camera lens, and the back is the same as the new THOR 4 DUAL (yes, I have one here finally). The GPS integrates with the fitness function for running and walking, which is a nice plus if you plan to use this watch for that. Other than the lack of data on AT&T cellular, it’s a good watch.

UPDATE: After this review was completed and posted, I FINALLY did get 3G data to work on AT&T (never 4G). It took updating stock apps, factory reset, and a lot of fussing, but it's now working. HOWEVER, it will ONLY hookup on 3G, even sitting under the AT&T Tower (where the new, updated LEMFO LEM7 I tested side-by-side got strong 4G signals). So good news is it works in the USA, bad news is it works only on 3G.

I'm preparing a video to look at 4G on all sorts of watches, and I'll paste the results for this A4 watch here (you'll see them again along with all the other watch results in the upcoming video. These are actual results with this watch:

Cell Data by AT&T Tower: 3G:3.96D/0.83U - 3G:7.42D/0.96U
ASSESSMENT: Initially wouldn’t access data at all. After updating stock apps, factory restore, etc., finally started working, however, never acquired 4G. Icon always 3G, Haystack test: 2 of 5 (POOR).
--I'll explain the Haystack test later. Just know this one is a tiny notch above unacceptable.
